　　1973年倫敦Molton Street上的一家小小美發廊，以私房的自然植物配方成為業界清泉。1978年拓展到從頭到腳的護膚保養系列及少量彩妝。80年代入選British Airway盥洗包，并伴隨BA最頻繁的大西洋航線（倫敦/紐約）以及當年率先開拓的VIP候機廊全套服務，迅速走紅，并在許多人心目中投射出與BA類似的高水準印象。醒神但不刺鼻的中性草本香，簡潔的包裝，靈巧不易滲漏的暗口設計，尤其獲變心率低又對自身護理有一定要求的男士擁護，也順勢獲得他們身邊女士們的信賴。

　　如今Molton Brown的專柜與專賣店在各大都會陸續落戶，亦成為豪華酒店及SPA的常駐成員，并將多年來服務First Class的經驗，帶入零售市場，比如設計周詳不繁瑣的旅行組合搭配，以及拿、取、放、掛方便的皮革盥洗袋。同時，積極開拓的新系列，討好女性客戶，但不會嬌媚得太小家碧玉。品牌的強項，始終是洗手、沐浴、身體保養系列，除傳統配方外，有些香味不見得人“聞”人愛。
